• A Magic Mirror dark ride beneath the Evil Queen’s palace, taking guests into a mystical Mirror Realm filled with Disney villains.
• A themed environment featuring characters such as Maleficent, the Evil Queen, Cruella de Vil, Dr. Facilier, and others.
• A land expected to be created on a grand scale comparable to Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, according to D23 coverage.

I have to say, the Magic Mirror attraction especially caught my attention. A dark ride built around the Evil Queen’s palace and the Mirror Realm sounds like the kind of atmospheric experience you’ll want to explore slowly rather than simply rush through for a ride photo.

🏗️ 2. Construction is moving forward, but 2027 is not a confirmed opening year

This is the part where I want to be careful, because theme park rumors can travel faster than a runaway mine train.

Disney has not announced an official opening date or opening year for Villains Land. That means families should not book a 2027 trip with the assumption that the new attractions will definitely be operating.

Construction and infrastructure work are progressing, though. Industry reporting has connected a major infrastructure permit with the Magic Kingdom expansion, including water-main work supporting both Villains Land and the planned Piston Peak National Park area.
